Brion W. Doherty



Brion joined Stotis & Baird after graduating from DePaul College of Law in 2007. He specializes in personal injury litigation, including wrongful death, medical malpractice, civil rights, and products liability cases. Since joining the firm, he has tried several jury cases to verdict, including one in 2010 in which he and Mike Baird obtained a $1.3 million verdict for their client that had suffered a spinal fracture. Brion is also involved in the firm's appellate practice.

In addition to his practice, Brion is involved in several local and national lawyers' groups. Currently, he serves as vice president of the Chicago Bar Foundation's Young Professional's Board and vice president of the Litigation Committee for the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division. He is also a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyer's Association, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services' Junior Board (past-president), the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.
